    Hello,

    I was just wondering if there was a way to pass a failed step name onto a notification step so you do not have to assign a failure to each step if you need this information?

    Are you using maintenance plans or ssis? If you use BIDS to build a maintenance plan with the relevant tools, you could use seperate mail task.
