Ok, I have to ask a stupid question since I can't find it otherwise. The two database that SSRS uses, are they considered a "system" database or "user" database when selecting databases in the maintenance plans?

They are user databases, as far as the SQL maintenance plans are concerned.

Hi,
what kind of maintenance plan are you creating?
There are a lot of wunderfull scripts from ola hallengren, they can do a lot more then the maintenance plans.

I was only looking to see how the maintenance plan categorized those two databases. I have separate plans for system vs user databases and just needed to know which one affected those two dbs.
I do know about his scripts. I used to use them for doing index and statistics updates but 2016 added all of that in so I’m just using the tools built in.
