Security is important. I do what I can and know how to do, in order to improve security. But I'll admit that I'm no security expert. I've been fortunate enough to not work at a place where we've had a security breach. Possibly one might have occurred, but we were unaware of it. That happens, I believe.
I know some friends who've worked in places that had security breaches. What surprises me is that nothing was publicized about it. I realize that companies/agencies don't want to look bad, so it's been better to just hush it up, I guess. I hear these things all after the fact, way after the fact.
