I have been a dba for over 11 years. I use to do a lot of development with Classic ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, COM objects, and so on. I haven't truly had an opportunity until now to find a really good tutorial to show how to insert, update, and delete data using asp.net and SQL Server. I currently have SQL Server 2008. I spent a majority of around 45 minutes looking for ways to get this project of mine going. I also have MS Visual Studio 2010 Express if that helps. I have yet to cross over to the ASP.NET side to use as a database front end if you would. Having to insert, update, and delete data from the ms sql server management studio has become quite tedious especially when you need to enter data that could potentially fit in a varchar(3000) variable.
Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
Thanks for any help in advance. :w00t:
