I'm looking to upgrade my 2k5 DBA cert by taking 70-453 and just wanted to know if anyone's sat the exam yet.
I'm a generalist DBA and I'm trying to figure out how much study time I'm going to have to put in for this. Was this exam more difficult than then sitting the two exams for 2k5? Or is about the same?
Thoughts appreciated.

I did the exam in January. From memory, it wasn't too bad - certainly not as tricky as the MBCDA upgrade (70-447) I did for 2k5. I can't be sure, but there was probably a slight bias towards new 2k8 features, but still with a fair number of questions on older stuff as well. If you are confident on the 2k5 features, you could probably get away with learning only the new 2k8 features which would save some time. I used Tom Carpenter's book "SQL Server 2008 Administration" supplemented with BOL etc. It didn't quite cover everything needed, but was pretty good anyway.
Any more info you need, let me know.

A million-dollar winning lottery ticket (that hasn't been already claimed) would be nice. @=)

Ah, the perils of not being specific on a computing forum...
