Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding logshipping refresh on SQL 2005.
Here we have a logshipping configuration(Primary & Secondary) with Monitor Server. The secondary database is in restoring mode. Since long time, the logshipping is working fine. Now vendor wants to refresh the Primary database with their new backup file(full bak file). So I want to know how to refresh the primary database and continue the logshipping process as before without recreating the logshipping.

Is the schema the same on new backup file? if yes.
You can restore the new backup file to another database and then copy all objects into the primary db using Import/Export tool.
