What is the difference betweeen sp_denylogin and sp_ revokelogin
May 23, 2005 at 2:28 am
from BOL :
Use sp_denylogin to explicitly prevent users from connecting with SQL Server, regardless of their Windows NT group memberships
With revoke you "drop" the user's login-id from the login's list ,but the user can still connect when he/she is member of a windows-group wich has been granted to the sqlserver.
