  How do we setup a Secondary Server on the Primary Server so the Primary can use it when setting up Log Shipping in 2005?

  Follow the Log Shipping wizard (right click on the DB, Properties or Tasks)

  In summary

  you have to take the backup of the DB from Primary, restore it on Secondary server in NORECOVERY/STANDBY mode

  then setup the trans log to be backed up, copied over, restored
