    HI every one,

    I want to know about the transaction log files

    and tracefiles..??? How they are useful..??

    You should read about this in Books Online.

    Transaction logs are used to ensure that all data is correctly and properly written to disk.

    Trace files are created when a trace is run to track activity on the server.
