Dear All,
Please I want a detailed process to read a SQL server 2000 log file to retrieve the data about executed queries such as CPU, time to execute ... And if there is any free softwares to download that facilitates this process.

Are you talking about the transaction log? That info isn't stored in the transaction log. Have a look at Profiler in BOL.
