Log file placement.

    Hello,

    I think this is an easy question, if you are hosting 5 databases on a server, you have the drive the logs are on, do you tend to have a separate folder for each databases logs, or are they all in one folder together. I believe that it is separate folders, but have brainfade this afternoon.

    The folders make no difference. If you can have them logging on individual drive arrays you can possibly improve performance and reduce the risk of all of the databases going down because of a single array.
