lock memory

    I setup max and min memory for the server, is it still needed to enable lock memory for SQL server 2012, or we no longer need to do that?

    The need is far less than in previous versions, especially SQL Server 2005 running on Windows Server 2003. Personally I will not enable it unless I am seeing specific symptoms where I think enabling it would help.

    There are no special teachers of virtue, because virtue is taught by the whole community.
