Location for File share Quorum

  Hi

  I'm setting up a number of 2 node Availability Groups and I'm going to use Node Majority and File share Quorum.

  Are there any recommendation where the file share should be?

  I've read not to put then on a DFS share as that could lead to a split brain scenario.

  I thought about putting them on a DC as they're always up, but would a small VM specifically to act a witness be better?

  Can they all use the same file share or should each AG have its own?

  Should the file shares be split between different servers?

  I'm very interested to know what the communities experience is.
