Hi,
Is there a possibility to integrate data contained in many local cubes (their structure is the same) using virtual cube? In other words - can I create virtual cube that connects to many local cubes? Espescially is there a way to create virtual cube as an offline file?
My problem is that having many local cubes I must create one analysis that use data from all of them. I know that there is a possibility to use DTS to extract data from local cubes to relational tables and next create and OLAP cube using this tables. But I need a solution that is as flexible as local cubes - without necessity of use OLAP Server
Best regards,
Andrzej

Not sure if you're using it but AS2K5 will allow you to have muliple fact tables in one cube, each feeding a measure group. The final cube then is the equivalent of the AS2K virtual cube (ie using multiple fact tables in a single queryable object). You can also save the cube off as a local cube.
Steve.
