Life Insurance Databases

  • Hi all,

    I'm looking at something in the Insurance field (being in Superannuation), and superficially, I imagine i'll be considering things like -

    * Customers

    * Customer Types

    * Policies

    * Claims

    * Payments Due

    * Payments Made

    * Time

    and I understand the relationship between these, but I haven't worked in this space and can't find any Sample Databases online to get a clearer idea of how these would work in the real world.

    If anyone knows of preferably a Sample Database (I'll want to build a couple of Reports, Cubes etc and happy to transform Access, Excel or anything to SQL Server 2008 if it gets me there), but even a good ERD etc, I'd appreciate the chance to get a clearer idea of how these vary from more traditional Superannuation setups.

    Thanks!
