I have a question about license. We have purchased 1 license for SQLserver 2008 R2 for serverA.
We also purchased software assurance with it. That means in the future if we want to upgrade, we can do a free upgrade to 2008 R2.
But we now we have another server serverB that is older version SQL server, can i use the ugprade license on this server instead?

You really need to contact your rep about that one.

Again... Always best to contact a MS rep on this. However, if I remember correctly, software assurance is for the product purchased. So if you buy SQL Server 2005 for X dollars, and then SQL Server 2008 for Y dollars with software assurance, you can't go back and upgrade 2005. Mainly, because it was purchased at a different price and software assurance would have been priced differently.
If you don't want to call Microsoft, then the answer is certainly no. Always play it safe if you don't want to contact them.
