Greetings all,
Yesterday I was approached by one of the Netork Admins and learned that they're considreing migrating all of our current Legato backups to Veritas. We've been using Legato since day 1 on all of the SQL Server systems and althought I've had some problems with it, I have a certain comfort level with using it after all this time. And I have to say that it's saved my hide a time or two in the past.
Does anyone have any comments or advice, good or bad, regarding veritas? If it's a bad move, I'd like shout out my concerns before management signs off on this. Any insight is appreciated. TIA.
My hovercraft is full of eels.

We have been using Veritas for two years now for our SQL servers. I would definitely recommend it. It does a very nice job restoring the system database and permissions.
