Korean Language displays boxes, Chinese, Thai are OK

    Hi everyone,

    Using query analyzer, when i retrieve data under Korean Language, it displays boxes rather than the actual data.  I have no problems with Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Thai languages since all of these returns the data successfully. This the same behavior is happening to my application.

    However, when I tried retrieving it from the Enterprise Manager, it returns the Korean Language correctly. Is there a thing that i've been missing here?

    Try using N'column_name' to retrieve unicode characters.

    Thanks jin for the reply but still it is not working. Could you give me an example of your syntax please?

    As I have mentioned, i'm having no problems with the Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Thai and Japanese. It's just with the Korean Language.
