Job running stored proc is getting Access to the path is denied

  I have a job that is running a stored procedure that is importing xml files from a UNC path. The job completes successfully but the history for the job states: Username: Access to the path [Path] is denied. We have added full control to the folders in the path but still having this issue. Is there something I'm overlooking?

  it is the the user running the sql instance that needs access to the share (or a proxy if enabled and if you are using xp_cmdshell to do the load)
