Hello everybody,
I hope you can help me with this:
The error message
"Failed to initialize the provider. Plas make sure that SQL Server Mobile Edition is properly installed."
The device
It is actually a PND (Personal Navigator Device), unbloqued, that is works with Windows CE 5.0.
The processor is an ARM920T.
It has installed CF2.0 and 3 files. CAB necessary to execute QueryAnalizer. In fact, the mistake is the attempt to open or create a database from the Query Analizer.
In the Windows folder I have the 7 files on the installation of the CABS
The CAB Files
There are:
1.- sqlce30.wce5.armv4i.cab
2.- sqlce30.repl.wce5.armv4i
3.- sqlce30.dev.ENU.wce5.armv4i
The development tool
VS2005 is with CF2.0 over Windows Vista Home Premium and SQL Server 2005
Status
I can not create or manipulate any kind of database. Nor can I connect disrectamente from SQL Server 2005 into the device.
Question:
How do we solve this problem for effecting a connection to the database and manipulate files SDF?
