I am new to this ...Can I store permanently a database in a mobile..I tried a lot..but couldn't..

Have a look for SQL Server Compact Edition:

It's made for embedded applications and mobile devices.

I have almost 1 million records with information about the Postal Codes in Brazil in a SqlCe database in a HTC Touch 3G Phone. It works very nicely. Try to search for SQLCE data bases using c#.
