I've activated Interactive Sort in a report I'm creating, but when the report is run, clicking on the header does not alter the sort. The screen does redraw and the arrow on the header changes, but the sort remains the same. Any ideas??

Make certain that you are using the correct scope etc to do the sort. It may be resorting your results, but in the wrong scope so that the actual output of the data is not sorted how you think it should be.

Thanks for the response. Yes, it was the scope. I don't completely understand why the changes I made work, but it does.

To better answer the question of why you changes worked when you changed the scope think about the following...
You have a table where you are presenting Sales information. Perhaps you have a group for Sales Region and then a group for Sales Rep and finally a details group for the individual clients.
You set up sorting so that you can sort the report by sales rep in the Sales Region Group by default.
Your user wants to click on Sales Amount and sort by the actual dollar amount for the individual sales reps. That sorting will occur at the Sales Rep Group (or scope). IF you define that sorting at the details group instead your Sales Rep Group will never sort correctly as it will sort the client data and not the sales rep aggregated data.
Does that help?
