Hi.
I have installed an sql 2005 Failover cluster on windows 2008 Failover cluster.I have some queries on it.
I want to install sql analysis failover cluster on my sql 2005 failover cluster which i didn,t select during my initial setup of sql 2005 failover cluster.Is there any pre-requisities i have to follow before installing sql 2005 analysis failover cluster on my exisitng sql 2005 failover cluster.
i have installed sql 2005 failover cluster with WIndows authentication.I want to change it to mixed authentication with the SA Account.Can i do it with sql studio managment.Where can i change the windows authentication to mixed mode.

For Analysis Server have a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/910230.
For other question you can change your security settings from SSMS without issues.

Thanks for the article.I have a small doubt on this MS KB Article.SQL 2005 Analysis services on exisitng failover cluster i can install using the splash.exe as expilained in the article rather than installing analysis service using command prompt.

I am not quite understanding what you mean ...
Are you saying you prefer to install it using Command Prompt instead of the installer interface SQL comes with?

Hi Mohit.
I want to install the sql failover analysis services on the exsitng sql failover cluster using the setup.exe that comes with sql server installer Not the command line.
The normal way of installing sql 2005 using setup.exe.

This article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/910230) is showing you how to do it using GUI not command line. HTA is a HTML file that can be executed; thats all. After you select the components to install it will launch that setup.exe
