Install SQL server 2008 R2 on windows server 2003

    When installing SQL server 2008 R2 in windows server 2003, do we need .net framework to be installed separately? Any other special requirements are there?

    .net framework will be install with the SQL Server 2008 R2 setup,you have to install VS 2008 SP1 if available on this server and update windows Installer 4.5
