Insert datas from CSV to table sqlserver 2005

    Hi all,

    I have a .csv file and also copied all the datas and created .xsl file i want to insert all the records to 1 particular table (SQLSERVER 2005)

    i tried Import data wizard and tried the .xsl file but not sucessfull and also the wizard supports only till excel2005 i use excel 2007

    can u pls help me out and find a easy way to insert those huge records from .xsl or .csv file into the table

    Hello,

    Where does the process fail and what error message do you get?

    Can you also post a sample of the data and the Table definition?

    i found the issue there was a truncation i skipped the error after that i could insert all records
