Inplace upgrade from SQL 2005 to 2008

  Hi All,

  I have 2 instances one default and another named on sql 2005.

  Can I run the inplace upgrade to upgrade it to 2008, will it upgrade both the instance or any other steps to be followed?

  Please guide..
