So after beating my head against the wall for a few weeks I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I am trying to use the DTSWizard on Windows 7 (64-bit) to import a visual foxpro table to a SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) that runs on a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
I have made two different attempts and both fail with different errors.
Using OLE DB Provider for VFP
I have the 32 bit driver installed and when I click the properties button the wizard crashes. I don't get any sort of specific error just a appcrash
Using the .net Data Provider for ODBC
I created a 32 bit ODBC System DSN to connect to my VFP Database. This gets me further in that I can actually see the tables but when I go to edit mappings I get "cannot find Column -1"
If anyone knows of anyway for this to work please let me know.
I can run this on the one windows xp box that is still in the office but we really want to get rid of that old thing. I also know I can just create an SSIS package and that will work fine but I really want to run this through the DTSWizard. Thanks.
