Import Export of Registered Servers from Sql server 2000 EM

    Hello Everybody,

    Till then I was having SQL server 2000 environment. Means I have all the servers registered in EM. Now we are planning to upgrade to SQL Server 2005. Now I need to register all of them again in SSMS.

    now my question is Do we have any utility or Script through which I can Export and then Import these all registered servers from SQL server 2000 EM to SQL server 2005 Management Studio?

    Please suggest...

    You can do it if Enterprise Manager was or is installed on the machine where you've installed SSMS because the information is written to the registry.

    In the Registered Servers window of SSMS, right-click on Database Engine and select "Previously Registered Servers".
