I have successfully removed SQL Server 2005 from the SQL2 node because of a bad install

  • Now, how do I get rid of Cluster Admin, SQL Server Configuration Manager. SQL Server Surface Area Configuration and any other SQL Server 2005 managerial objects?

    Thanks,

    Ron

  • Cluster Admin is built-in management console of Window Servers, it cannot be "removed". If you run the uninstall of SQL Server you should have an option to remove Desktop Tools or Desktop Components (can't recall how it is referenced) to remove the management tools and service consoles for SQL Server.
