Hello dears!
i have difficulties to uninstall the SQL Server 2005 components on my PC. this i think it's due to a mistake i made when i unistall a previous one. i unistall it in Add/Reemove Program but when i found it again in programs menu i delete it manually by a right click/delete. I unfortunatly didn't follow a message which instruct me that it will affect the logon on my machine.
Now when i try to install aagain SQL Server 2005 a message tells me that components are already installed.
Please help me! what can i do, i spend a whole week in searching but without success. thanks a lot for your reply.
Regards.

Deleting it from the programs menu only deletes the shortcut to the program. Go back to Add/Remove Programs and try uninstalling it from there again.
Once done, go into Windows Explorer and see if the folders are still there. Unless something's really screwed up after the installation, you shouldn't see anything. But if there is, and you've followed the uninstall properly, you should just be able to delete the folders and reinstall from scratch.
