I'm trying to configure shared data source of SSRS, on SQL Server 2012, so I can see in Profiler and Activity Monitor who is actually running the report using this data source.
I was able to achieve it by specifying Windows Authentication in the shared dataset: when the user runs a report using this datasource, I see his username in Profiler.
However, if the user tries to subscribe on this report, he receives this error : "Subscriptions cannot be created because the credentials used to run the report are not stored, or if a linked report, the link is no longer valid". I tried to address it by specifying execution account in SSRS Configuration Manager, but it did not help - according to the description, this account is being used for the reports with "no authentication required".
