I am sorry, but I can only recommend you a paid solution. I know the frustration when we loose the credentials of our crucial data, and SQL server database password is indeed a crucial one.
You may recover SQL server password by trying an inexpensive tool by SysInfoTools. I just realized that one of the contributors above have also shared some information about it, that means I am on the rite track and the share must be worthy.
