  Hi,

  I am Newbie in SSIS .Can any tell me is there any we can Read Data From Mainframe Sequential Files on MVS/0S390 IN SSIS to SQL Server.At Present i am Using Informatica and Power Exchange To read Data Through Data MAps.

  Can you elaborate on the file type? Is the file fixed length columns, comma delimited, etc?

  HI John-

  It is a Sequential files that is stored on Mainfram GDG.It will be in Ebcidic Format and we need COBOL copy book to read it.Right now i am creating Datamaps using Informatica Power Exchange to read the Data.I would like to know if we can do this in SSIS.
