i have 5 cube in ssas server each cube is has one partition,when i want to process the partition it took long time,could any one help me to make the process partition more better performance,sorry if my english not good,thx b4 for any one who help me.

If you create extra partitions in addition to the default partition you can choose to process only selected partitions, for example the partition that holds the latest data. In order to do that you'll need to change the default partition from Table Binding to Query Binding and then specfiy a T-SQL query that defines the data to be included in the partition. You can then create new partitions and specify the data for each of them.
Note: be careful to ensure that the same data is not contained in more than one partition.
Partitioning is often done by date, e.g. create a partition for each calender year of data. If your ETL process only loads data for the current year you can just process the corresponding partition. You could take that down to a more granular level, e.g. for the current year partition by month.
Additionally there are various options when processing partitions - Default, Full, Data, Indexes etc. Choosing the most suitable option can also speed up your processing time.
I am about to create a new post asking about the 'Data' processing option...so have a look out for that!
