How to find a post from “My Posts” quickly?

  • If there are hundreds or thousands posts, do I have to go through the whole list page by page?

Can we have a tree view grouped by form categories? Or search function by keywords, post date range, etc.

  • No easy way right now, but we're testing a new search feature for the forums. Possibly deployment later this week or next.

  • What happened to "My Posts" for forums?  I don't see it listed.  (Of course it is Monday morning and perhaps the old brain has not fired up yet!!)   thx in advance.

  • You can do this on the search page. If you go https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Search, make sure your on advanced search, and type your username in the username field. Then on the Search Discussions box, click the down arrow, and select the forums you want (you'll need to expand the categories, I noticed that searching in SQL Server 2016 gave no result for myself, but searching in SQL Server 2016 - Development and T-SQL gave plenty).

Little long winded, but it gets you there.

  • Isn't there any way to quickly find my recent posts?  Like click one button.

Clicked your user name (or you can click your profile at the top of the page) and then clicked replies.
