How to copy DB from 2000 to 2005 - Something quick?

  Hi:

  I need to copy databases from SQL Server 2000(32 bit) to 2005(64 bit). Does anybody can point me to a user friendly book, white paper, quick reference, anything that can show me quick steps to either build an SSIS project (I am new to this) or any other means to do it.

  Old DTS have some problems executing copying the database.

  Appreciate your advices.

  Like me you have posted in the wrong forum Try Administering.

  If you are moving from 2000 to 64 but 2005 I would not use SSIS to copy a complete DB , just make a backup on 2000 and restore it on 2005

  Much easier
