I have sql server running properly on one of my machines. I want to stop using that machine as an sql server an instead want to setup a new machine that would be a dedicated sql server. While doing this i also want to keep the settings and also the security and other information like jobs and schedules and text catalogs exactly the same as on the old server. Is this whole process possible without creating scripts for each and every database.
please do let me know whats the best way to carry out this process.
