SQL server 2008 lets one use only those spatial reference systems which are listed in sys.spatial_reference_systems. Naturally all reference systems I need are not included, and I would like to add data into that table.
I have all the data necessary for defining new reference system, but when I try to execute insert clause, sql server returns an error: "Ad hoc updates to system catalogs are not allowed."
Does anyone know what is the right way to add spatial reference system?
