How to add Dynamic column in the Flatfile Source?

  • Column Name --> FtpDate

    Datatype --> Date Not Null

  • When you are retrieving the file name in the Foreach loop, consider selecting the 'Name only' option to avoid having to dissect the entire path string with your derived column expression.

  • OK, so is this solved now?

    If not, please provide three or four sample file names, so that we can help with the Derived Column expression.

  • No The problem has not solved

    Here are the Sample File Names

    ''ACTEST00001_20141111_0408_INV.TXT''

    ''ACTEST00001_20141111_0408_SL.TXT''

    ''ACTEST00001_20141111_0408_SV.TXT''

    ''ACTEST00001_20141111_0408_SV_APPT.TXT''

    Like this i have 100 files in my local path

    I please u to tell the procedure from the first step by step so that i willl try again from the First.

    Yep, this includes me. I don't have time to write out a step-by-step process right now.

    I am busy refactoring my databases to the gates of hell.
