How to add an attribute to existing cube?

  Hi all.

  I am relatively new to SSAS. This problem does not sound difficult, I tried to solve it but could not find a solution.

  I have an existing cube in multi-dimensional mode in version 2008. I added a column in underlying SQL Server table. Now I need to add it to a cube. In a Data Source View I see this field. But I tried to edit cube, dimension, but could not find an option to add an attribute. How I can add it?

  On the right hand side of the screen in the dimension editor there is a window that shows a view of the tables (as they are in the DSV) that make up the attributes of a dimension. You can drag it from there and drop it into the attributes area.
