I've seen that question posed to Microsoft before and they indicated there was no limit on the number of folders. But in your case and with nesting them, I would think the limitation you could run into would be the size of the path which is stored in the Catalog table in the ReportServer database. The data type for path is nvarchar(425). I believe that would be your limiting factor.
