How do I update the subscription when the IP address is changed?

    I have doing merge replication using a pull subscription. The IT guy has changed the IP address of the subscriber. Do I drop the subscription and re-add it? Or is there another way?

    Hi Dale,

    Changing the IP address should make no difference. Replication relies on the machine name not the IP address. So if the name has not changed you should not have an issue.

    to be safe run ipconfig/flushdns

    To prevent any cached entries from touching the wrong server.
