Hi,
would anybody know?
Perhaps this isn't even possible?
Almost all services can be uninstalled and reinstalled. Why can't this be done with sqlserver Service?
Sincerely
andreas

Although you can uninstall any service manually, if you do this you may cause the owning service to break. You may also void your support agreement. Where there is a supported interface for uninstall you should always use that instead of manually uninstall.
The SQL Server install process always installs a number of SQL-related services, and these include SQL Server agent. It is not recommended that any of these services are manually uninstalled. If you need to uninstall SQL Server, go to 'Add/Remove programs' and uninstall via that interface.
If you have manually uninstalled SQL Server Agent, you can try 'Add/Remove Programs' to see if your SQL installation can be repaired. If this does not work you will have to uninstall SQL (via Add/Remove Programs!), manually tidy anything that was left due to previous manual meddling, then install SQL from the beginning.
