How are report snapshots stored?

    Does anyone know how report snapshots are stored?  I would image the only way is storing the report formatting and data is in an XML file on disk or in a Reporting Service table in a Text field.  Hopefully in the next week when I finally get SSRS installed, I can find out.  But I'm curious now.

    They are stored as XML in the ReportServer database that gets added as pert of the RS install.
