  I'm trying to not recreate the wheel. Does anyone have a DTS task/job for importing HL7 data? I receive lots of requests to analyze HL7 data, and I would like to just import it into SQL tables. Has anyone done this before and willing to share some scripts?

  I don't have a HL7 DTS task but while browsing the internet i found the following: http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/evaluation/hl7/default.asp 

  When i'm correct you can put the incoming data straight into SQL 2000. I haven't tried this out but i guess we will in the future
