History of record/page/table locking?

  Anyone know of a system table (or otherwise) that records a history of record/page/table locks? If not, how would you go about getting this historical info?

  I do not believe that sql records this information as a default.

  You can set up a profiler trace, and log results to a file/Table.

  There are know issues w/ this, and some overhead

  Or you can set up some server side tracing.
