help on configuring SQL2000 in students Lab.

    Hi all, I run a SQL2000 server machine in my office, and i want all my students to be able to access it.

    at the moment, the student labs are using Windows XP pro OS.

    My question is how do i configure the enterprise manager in the student labs to connect straight to my SQL2K PC in my room?

    because at the moment, the only way to connect to the server is by using "New SQL Server Registration" on the "SQL SERVER GROUP", and when the student logoff, and logon in the different or same machines, he/she has to do the "New SQL server registration" again.

    Can someone help me please?? Thank you

    There is an article out on the MS KB site (sorry don't have the number) about losing the Server Registrations in EM on XP with regards to the same machine. With regards to a different machine the answer is they will jsut have to do again.
