Hello all,
I got a SUSE Linux 32 bits virtual machine running on my server and would like to install Oracle 11g onto it, but I have been running into problems with it.
Any walktroughs available to install on linux.

You might want to post your question in a pure Oracle forum.
The changes for getting help will be much higher since here you'll mostly find MS SQL folks.

Yeah, should have reckoned
well after 2 days painfully searching (cursing and sweating) I managed to get
a working oracle database on a Linux server
How I did it is still somewhat of a mystery.
The first install worked but the dbca tool refused to work.
In the second install I solved some mistakes I made earlier (with the /etc/hosts file), however
the second install complained about the swap size of my virtual machine (Wich was annoying since
the first install had been totally ok with it)
Ok 3th install of the day (added a 2 gig swap file to the system) everything went fine,
ran dbca tool. It worked, OK.
So basicly I followed the instructions of the creator of this Linux (Novell) on how to install an
oracle 11gR1 database on the SUSE Linux SP3.
While installing 11gR2 on a SUSE 11 SP1.
