Hi Friends,
Im having a strange problem with SSMS, i have two CD's for SQl Server2005 standard edition.
when i installed i got all other components and tools but there was no SSMS and tried to install it manually from second disk my clicking on the SqlTools setup but im getting some error message.
I even tried uninstalling the whole sql server and installed it again but no luck.
Can anybody please help in installing MS -SQL Server 2005.

Has this CD been used for sql installation earlier(in past) ?

I work only to learn Sql Server...though my company pays me for getting their stuff done;-)

Of course the same CD's are used before also to install SQL Server.

Did you install it carefully (means got any error/warning during installation) ? i think you should get.
Is your login has required privledges ?
