Using PowerBI Version1.25.9508.3237(January 2026). Installed Microsoft Power BI Desktop (Optimized for Power BI Report Server - January 2026). I get an error when I try to deploy a simple report to the on prem server.

All other aspects of the server function as expected. I can deploy to PowerBI services, but not the on prem server. AI is indicating that the exe for Powerbi desktop should be named PBIDesktopRS.exe, but I have an older PowerBI installation that works fine with an exe named PBIDesktop.exe, so I'm not sure AI is correct.
